Excelsior Medical has self-manufactured Syrex prefilled flush syringes since 1996. Our manufacturing capacity has increased over the years to our current capacity of over 240 million prefilled saline and heparin syringes per year. Our new facility has the necessary space to allow us to expand even further as demand for our Syrex syringes increases.

Our facilities are FDA-registered and ISO 13485(EN 46001) certified. We maintain our own R&D, microbiology and quality laboratories in order to maintain direct control over our processes and to respond quickly to our client’s need for new products.

The Difference Terminal Sterilization Makes.
Companies using aseptic fill technologies are required to invest huge amounts for every incremental increase in production. Equipment takes months or years to manufacture and even more to debug and validate.

Excelsior Medical’s terminal sterilization process allows us to respond quicker to changes in the market through more nimble manufacturing techniques. Our processes are not directly dependent on bulky aseptic fill machines and our production lines can be adapted quickly to new syringe sizes and solutions.
